Building A Huge List With Article Marketing: Is It Possible?

Most Internet Marketers know this phrase like the back of their hands: The money is in the list. Many people in the
IM niche think they need a huge list to make a decent amount of money online. This is a very common way of thinking
and I'm certain it will pop up in your mind sooner or later. The biggest problem with this way of reasoning is that it
stops people from building a list for their online business.
People think you need to have a list of at least 10,000 or even 15,000 subscribers before they can make a decent income. And when they realize that it's not going to be an easy task they just stop trying to build a list.
I can tell you right here and now that this is without a doubt not true. There's a case study where an Internet Marketer
with a small list of 1,236 subscribers made an amazing $15,000 from that list.
How in the world did he do that? How can you sell $15,000 worth of products to only 1,236 potential buyers? There are a few criteria that have to be met before you can make money like that. First of all, you need to have a good relationship with the
members of your list. It means you'll have to earn their trust. Secondly, they have to be well informed about the products and services available on the Internet and they have to get that informaton from you. Last but not least they must be willing to buy an expensive item from you.

Let's return to the size of that list. Just 1,236 members, a little bit more then a 1,000 subscribers. Can I ask you a question: can you build a list of 10,000 subscribers? Not a very likely scenario if you're a new kid on the block. But can you
build a list of 1,000 members? Or, lets say 1,500? There is no doubt in my mind that everybody can build a list of
1,000 subscribers.

How are we going to make that happen? You will have to build a squeeze page and put it on your website. Then you
will have to drive visitors to the squeeze page and gobble up as many subscribers as you can. You can drive traffic
to your squeeze page very fast with advertising, like Google Adwords. But if buying clicks is not a viable option for you, you definitely should try article marketing. Suppose you write and submit one article a day, which is easy to achieve, and you stick to this scheme for at least a few months. For most people submitting the articles to the
right directories is tedious and time consuming but you can spend your time more wisely and outsource this work to an article submission service.

It will take some time to see any significant result with article marketing, as this method of driving visitors to your
website tends to start off slowly. But after a while these articles will pull in a flood of visitors to your site and you
will see a constant flow of subscribers added to your list every day.
I think it's fair to say that you don't need a huge list to make a decent amount of money online. But what are the possibilities with a huge list?. Let this idea go through your mind. If you can make $15,000 with 1,236 subscribers, how much would that be if you
had a list of 10,000, 50,000 or even 100,000 subscribers? You do realize that this can be done with article marketing, don't you?
Just keep writing those five articles a week for at least six months and you will see some amazing results.
Let's face it, even the professional marketers of today had to pull in their first visitor and waited anxiously for their first sale.
