Student who learn by listening finally have the advantage of being able to study while they are driving or at the gym. nursing students can use these audios to get a grasp of the material that is going to be taught prior to taking the test. This will give them a real edge. Audios are especially good for retaining vocabulary and becoming comfortable with test questions and answers. More than 12% of students fail the exam the first time. Fewer students pass the second time they take the test. This is primarily because they don't have the time to practice the material.
Some nursing students find it helpful to plan their schedules using the syllabus. They take steps to reduce their responsibilities and know that they are going to have to be committed to the program if they want to succeed.
It is helpful to solicit the help of family and friends. If people around you know in advance that you are going to need them to assist with some of the responsibilities, you will have move success and they will be more understanding.
Fewer students passed the NCLEX RN in the first quarter of this year compared to the first quarter of 2007. The most logical reason is that the economy has put a strain on everyone and they are having to work harder to succeed. There is less time to study for tests.
