The emphasis here is on the word the best, since everyone who takes pictures, assuming that the images are relative clear and properly exposed, can be considered a wedding photographer. Another question question is whether to freelance or work for a studio.

Apprenticeship may be a old expression in most other jobs; it is, however, the best way to learn wedding photography. To really understand the difficulties and complexities came in contact with, you must go out and see what it's like.. In the beginning, it's best to just watch and to ask questions on breaks-not while the photographer is taking images. put down creative inputs and your thoughts and you see fit. Find a wedding studio who is willing, competent, and capable of educating. A lot photographers might imply and think that they are absolute masters, which might be their ego. The only path to judge for yourself is to see their work and compare it to that of others. If it stands out in your mind as being different and unique, then certainly ask to be taken. A poor teacher can start you off with poor habits that you may not see and may find difficult to break, assuming that you even realize that you are doing something you shouldn't be doing.
Books, seminars, night classes, online forums and resources are also powerful sources of knowledge. Some professional organizations have great learning tutorials as well.
Many studios want workers who are experienced and show some samples of their work. Some however, may train you if they feel that you have potential and show a desire to learn and become better. Most studios may even retrain you even if you have a n outstanding experience, since many studios have their own different style. They may show you how to take your skills and apply it, so that your work can match to theirs more closely.
Freelancing is the most hard way to get your foot into the industry. Most people have no idea how to take care their business, where to get albums, talk to the clients, put out advertisements, sign contracts . You can most likely learn it all by yourself, but it may take years for you, making costly mistakes along the way.
